This product was just what I needed. I put it under my pillow because the effect of it shaking my whole queen-sized bed was not quite powerful enough to arouse me. Under my pillow it works like a champ! I love that I could set two different alarms (Alarm1 and Alarm2) one-hr apart, just in case procrastination gets the best of me on some days. The cords are reasonably long to allow for varied placement. With a combination of customization sound pitch (with very loud adjustable volume), a powerful vibration under your pillow (under your bed for light sleepers), and bright flashing orange lights, waking up is almost a guarantee with just Alarm1. Now its your choice if you choose to go back to sleep and ignore Alarm2. I love it this very sturdy and schedule-saving product.

Super loud it will wake up the entire family... When it works. Unfortunately ours died within a couple of days, even the replacement stop vibrating and that was the main reason we bought it.

My son has some serious issues getting out of bed in the morning and the first week we had this he was out of bed on time each morning. Vibration is very strong and i can hear it through the house, alarm is very loud and if you don't wake up when this thing goes off your are probably in some form of a coma. I know cosmeticly it does not look like much but it does the job, dont expect bluetooth, usb ports, radio or any of the other bells and wistles you get with some of the alarms that are on the market today this is just a GREAT alarm to wake up heavy sleepers. I looked at some reviews on youtube before i purchased and you may want to do the same if your not sure about features or how this works.

If you're a heavy sleeper such as me, then this is definitely the alarm clock for you, it may not be as loud as expected but the addition of the vibrating pad makes this almost impossible to not wake up to.

I really needed this alarm clock. I often have to wake up in the middle of the night after only having slept a few hours at a time. My cell phone always fails to wake me up, but this alarm clock along with the bed shaker pretty much guarantee that I'll awaken 100 of the time exactly on time!
