I make big pots of soups. I like to freeze them so we can eat them and not worry about spoilage. They are the perfect 2 cup size. They come out of the freezer and pop right into the microwave for a nice, tasty meal. I have had them for several months and have never had them leak or split.

I bought these because I was making my favorite Louisiana gumbo soup and needed some extra containers to store it in for freezing and these inexpensive plastic containers did just that plus they seal real well and after freezing the gumbo then thawing some out a few weeks later, the gumbo tasted just fine without and freezer burn taste!
