The spikes are, well, spikes. They are very good spikes, work perfectly, but the beauty of this set is the tool!I can't tell you how many different tools I've used over the years to try and remove old spikes, I have them all, and none really did a great job. This tool on the other hand got all of them out quickly and easily, all of them. A word of caution, the business end of the tool is sharp, so don't lose the little cover, you'll definitely want it, especially if you keep the tool in your bag.What a bargain for the set, I highly recommend it!

Fast Twist spikes are just that; twist on/off quickly to change. Included installer tool is small but it gets the job done. Included cleat ripper does work as well but hazardous because of sharp edges; best to use other tools (pliers, wrench) to more safely remove old spikes without damaging your shoe sole. Cyclone Spikes are much stiffer with less give/cushion than Pulsars and elevate you ~0.3" above the ground. Twisting of feet on the backswing is noticeably resisted with these spikes; walking is also 'grippy', with no feeling of slipperiness on concrete or grass. Recommend Cleat Kit if you need the ripper/installer, but if not just the spikes themselves are awesome. Five Star!

The spikes work well. The tool is worthless. Make sure you soak your soles in warm water for a half hour or so before you try to switch them.
