Boyfriend loves it he says he has never been able to hoe a garden that fast with a regular hoe. We haven't had it long so can't speak to how well it will hold up over time.

Great value. I sanded the raw handle and stained it with Watco, finished with steel wool, and another coat. Strange, beautiful red wood. Long, light handle is almost like a whip. Not a heavy pick but great for roots and rooting out shrubs, Great price and a beautiful tool. No bending over. Terrific weeding hoe.

The handle broke the first time I tried to use it. I reinserted the handle into the head, and it promptly broke again. The head is a descent design and seems to be heavy enough to do a good job, but that can't happen if the handle is so cheap that it breaks repeatedly.

The long handle makes it easy to weed without bending over - a real back saver. The steel in the cutting head is of high quality and wears very well. The weight of the hoe is just right for effective weeding.

The mattock hoe was well built and heavy duty. The only negative was the hole at the end of the handle, but I am sure some folks will need it for hanging on the wall.
