Sentry FiproGuard Cat and Kitten Topical Flea Treatment contains Fipronil the active ingredient used in FRONTLINE Top Spot for cats. FiproGuard is the first retail generic equivalent to FRONTLINE Top Spot for cats.
FiproGuard provides three way protection that kills fleas, ticks and chewing lice
Kills fleas and prevents flea reinfestation for up to 4 weeks
Waterproof and remains effective, even after bathing, water immersion or exposure to sunlight
For cats of all sizes over 8 weeks of age
FiproGuard Cat and Kitten Topical Flea Treatment kills deer ticks that may transmit Lyme disease. It also kills brown dog ticks, American dog ticks and lone star ticks.
For use ONLY on cats of ALL weights over 8 weeks of age.

Other Ingredient: Dethylene Glycol Monoethyl Ether - 90.30%

Works as it should and has helped protect our kitty. So glad I gave this one a chance. It's hard to find good products at an affordable price, but this one was a keeper.

I've used this for Ben the cat for 8 years. He's a house cat, but you can bring in fleas , etc., on your shoes. It's worked well for many years.....

I decided to try this brand of cat flea medicine because the prices of fleas meds had really gone up and this one was one of the cheapest I found. I've used this on my cat for the past two months and it seems to work fairly well. I have noticed that my cat scratches more as the medicine starts to weaken going into the fourth week, but it's not bad. As far as over the counter flea meds go, this is a good product that I will continue to use.
