I needed a new mailbox lock and it was a perfect fit

When I refused to pay the post office $50 for a new lock (old one destroyed by thieves) I needed a quick and easy solution. The lock fit into my neighborhood cluster box easily but none of the latches were long enough to securely close the box. We got lucky that our mailman pulled up as we were installing this and had extra latches; he said they don't make them for our box anymore so he collects old ones he finds. While this lock is very inexpensive, I recommend measuring the latch size you need before purchasing!
