Recommended by my son's art teacher for home during the coronavirus pandemic. Lots of diverse colors. Smaller in size so easy for him to hold.

These oil pastels are great for beginners! Of your they are messing and never dry, so take that into consideration when giving these to children, but they are highly pigmented. They also work best on smooth non-textured paper. So far I've been very happy with my purchase.Tips: Use smooth paper, use a brush to wipe off extra bit off your paper, use neutral transitioning colors to smooth two colors together, Q-tips and paper blenders work wonders for blending, and do not put two oil pastel drawing opposite to each other, they will got onto each other.

Love these! I just started getting back into my oil pastel obsession, and I'm glad I picked these up! They are smooth and glide better that the ones I picked up from Walmart. Super satisfied.
