This USB controller is extremely well built, replicating the original SNES controller straight down to the callus-building directional pad. I got this item in, and spent the next 2 hours acquiring the sore thumbs of my youth. The feel is almost exactly like the original controllers, though with a slightly lighter weight. Overall, a great accessory to any retro gaming experience.

The Right button on the cross pad did not work as it should. If you press ever slightly too hard the character would not move. I had faith that this controller would work. I was wrong. Save your money and get an actual SNES controller with a USB adapter. Even if it costs you a couple bucks more. Trust me you will be glad you did. I saw a very positive review on YouTube about this so I was hoping it would work great. I was wrong and the YouTube review was wrong.

I bought this as I've been using some weird controller for the last few years, wanted to get an old school feel. I'll just say that the control looks good, buttons worked but the D pad and the quality of the product is garbage. I'm not gonna bother returning it, as it was only like 10 bucks but I would not purchase this, just get the adapter as this thing is clearly made by idiots who have no pride in their product. I guess I'm an idiot as well for thinking this would actually work flawlessly.

I bought this controller so I can get that retro feel when playing my SNES games on my PC. I was very impressed on how close this controller is to the original; same size, same feel outside a few minor things. The buttons respond very well and feel pretty durable. Everything is great except for the D-pad. It's poorly constructed and causes problems when pushing certain directions. For example, when playing Castlevania IV, moving your character to the right is very challenging because the down button also gets pushed causing the character to stop moving and crouch. This can be very frustrating especially in fighting games when sensitive combinations are a must have. I ended up scraping the stock D-pad and replaced it with an original SNES D-pad from one of my old controllers. I must say, after doing so, it made a world of difference. Now it plays like the real thing.I would give this product 5 stars but the D-pad that comes with it really impedes game play with a lot of games. I would recommend this only if you plan on playing games that only utilize just the four buttons and none of the in between-ers or if you plan on replacing the D-pad.

This controller feels and responds just like the original. Already used about 50 hours and still feelin good. Great value!
