My 13 year old has played baseball since he was 4 years old, so I am constantly in the lookout for baseball pants at a good price. Here are the pros and cons I have found so far:PROs:1. Good material as you would expect from the Rawlings brand.2. Since I bought them in white, they hold up to strong detergents to remove the dirt stains.CONs:1. Run big for the size. Ordered youth XL and they are really wide from the waist to the knee.

Great shorties. Size medium fits both my sons 411 80lbs and 49 92 lbs. The material is soft and medium thickness. Has two thin red non-slip strips around the waistband. I gave 5 stars because at $35 its a great value for USSSA. I loaded up for practices. We have thicker, firmer pants for tournaments.

Very happy with this brand. After trying 3 different pants of another brand (UA)...which were wayyy to large in the waste/rear/length....these fit perfectly according to size chart. And hit perfectly a below the knee as expected. The other brand almost hit the ankles!Perfect fit....very happy. Purchased L for kid 9yr, 27 inch waste, about 59in tall.
