I think they should have called this game 34;Road Rage!34; You and your opponents are cars trying to make it through rush hour traffic to see who can make it to the finish line first. You have cards that help you move forward, cards that delay other players (and enrage them), and cards that can un-do bad things. It's a very easy and simple game to learn. The fun and rage-inducing parts are well balanced as everyone gets screwed over at some point in the game or gets launched forward if they are behind. It also plays fairly quickly....I highly recommend!

I am proud to say that Randall is a former student of mine. I am thrilled to read the reviews of his new game. He is a brilliant artist as well, a brilliant mind! I will be buying several games for Christmas gifts especially for family members so I can play too!

This is a great lite filler game that only takes about half an hour to play. It's kind of a racing/puzzle game with lots of player interaction. It also looks great on the table.

I've played Road Hog multiple times with my gaming posse and we absolutely love it! It has fantastic balance for new and experienced players and each time you play is a brand new experience. The gameplay is so inventive, the copy on the cards are hilariously written and the quality of the components are colourful and sturdy! I've found myself trying to team up with fellow players while also sabotaging others. A huge part of the game is stopping other people's actions on their turns, which I love, but it's all about timing! So make sure you pay attention to what everyone is doing and even make it clear beforehand at what point it's too late for someone to stop an action. I totally recommend this game to anyone who enjoys a fast paced, unpredictable gaming experience!

Fun game. I play it with my sons ages 10 and 12. It is easy to understand and we have a blast. I am very happy with the board, it is not cheap cardboard. It should hold up for awhile.

I just got this and have played it with my two daughters several times now (ages 9 and 12) -- we absolutely love this game! The play is easy to get into and fast and fun with different pieces for customizable layouts (including curves and straightaways). The cards are witty and I can relate to many of the bizarre driver behaviors illustrated in their play (and admit to pulling some of the same moves from time to time). As someone who has seen many miles behind the driver's wheel, it's really satisfying to see a game that both ridicules and celebrates being on the road. I honestly think this could be a classic -- the subject is universal and the play is fantastic. It comes with quality parts (the board, the cars, the dice). The box says says 12, but my 9 year is the one who tore up most of the road with clever moves! It would be nice if the cars had magnets so we could play this on road trips.

This is a great game! What I love about it is that you create a puzzle for your opponents to solve by moving 34;NPC34; cars using a combination of dice and cars to block their path. Card play is quick and funny. Although this is a take that game, there are no hard feelings because, well, we'e all been there on the road. This isn't a gamer's game, but something light that you can play between heavier sessions or use as a gateway game for new players. Everyone immediately understands the concept of trying to outmaneuver the other guy on the highway. This game, and the designer, are the subject of a documentary called The Next Great American Game and it's great to see this in published form. The Next Great American Game
