Decided to get rid of the clunky knife block on the countertop and store the knives in a drawer and this block is awesome. The drawer I wanted to use isn't that deep and this block fits perfectly with room to spare for other kitchen tools. Nice quality and look.

great size and holds our very large knife down to a paring knife. Keeps the blades safe and hands safe when reaching into the drawer for a knife. Much prefer this to the knife block. I have no counter space!
