I love these knife blocks (I bought 2). They keep my knife collection safe and neat in the large knife drawer. I was happy to find this size, as it was very hard to get one to fit the size of my drawer. I put grippy feet on the bottom so they don't slide around, even though they're very sturdy. They hold the knives well and the solid wood is beautiful!

I was very picky when looking for a knife block, it had to have a certain amount of openings, a certain height, width, etcI am SO happy with this. At first the price kept me from buying right away, but boy am I happy I did! It is very heavy and the dimensions were spot on and fit to the mm exactly where I had wanted it! My knives all fit well and the handles stayed below the highest part of the block so it was perfect!!! Well worth the price in my opinion!

The solved a problem for me keeping multiple sharp knives together in a drawer.The one improvement that could be made is perhaps a bar across the top, halfway along the knife slots, to allow handle-heavy Japanese style knives to stay in place and not fall back onto their handles.
