I rebuilt two SNES controllers with these parts and while it worked some of the pieces didn't look like had been made quite right.

The kit feels more tactile than the original silicone except for the d-pad which feels a tad mushier than the original, I would gladly buy another set if I get a new controller

I used this repair kit to change out the directional on a Famicom controller and the start/select on the US controller. Both work like brand new. Worth it.

It is a decent replacement for the SNES mini controller. Unfortunately the B button pad started to wear out and I needed something to replace it. I found this set and while it isn't a 100 fitment, it does work for it. Time will tell how long the silicone lasts. I should note, I only purchased this set to use the A, B, X, Y buttons, I do not have any experience with the D-pad, shoulder or Start/Select button pads.

These fit perfectly and have given me a nice “clicky” controller feel again. Everything is responsive and they are exactly as advertised.

Don't let the nit-picky parts get you, these are drop in replacements for the worn original button pads and will get your controller back to a better place for most users. The rubber is indeed blue and the pads are dimensionally darn near exact copies of the originals. The issues here are the feel and the response of the rubber. It is indeed a little sluggish, with a mushy reset. the break is not as crisp as I would like. If you can stand to do this, buy a Cirka controller and take it apart for the grey button pads. Those are better feeling BUT you won't be able to use much else from it, aside from the buttons. The Cirka joystick is close, but you can't use Cirka joystick parts on an OEM joystick, and again does not perform as well as a fresh OEM one.
