Battery lasts aprox. 4hours plus a bit extra. Charged fully on high sound and high backlight. I didn't expect it to be the same as the original one. I hope they make larger batteries that fit correctly for the unit.

My daughter still played with the 3DS, and this battery was a good deal and worked well to replace the failed OEM battery. By the time this one fails, I would expect we won't be using the 3ds much anymore...

Despite the mixed reviews I purchased the battery, it's been almost a year and it's holding a charge, hasn't exploded(what happened to the original battery) and has no issues while playing.

Almost didn't buy because of reviews. I'm glad I did. Holds a charge all day if I'm not heavy gaming. Thinking to buy a spare for when these things become harder to find.
