Like so many people these days, I am gluten intolerant. It gives me massive indigestion within minutes and major intestinal distress a few hours later. I spent more than a decade avoiding wheat products entirely, until a trip to France, during which I happened to try something made with wheat flour and discovered to my shock that I had no problems. Subsequent trips to Europe have confirmed this: American flour makes me sick. European flour does not. And no, it's not the magic of being on a stress free vacation or some other such fairy dust theory. There is something fundamentally different between American and European flour that produces vastly different physiological reactions in those of us who are gluten sensitive.For the past few years I have been buying Caputo and other European flours online and making my own bread and pasta, but recently I discovered Rao's. I was a little hesitant to try it because, while it says it is imported from Italy, does that really mean it is made with the same variety of wheat that agrees with me? What if it was made with American wheat varieties that were grown in Italy?Well, I'm happy to report that Rao's pasta does NOT cause digestive problems for me! Or for my dad. He gets severe diarrhea when he eats American wheat, but he too can enjoy Rao's safely. What's more, it is legitimately delicious - the noodles are nice and meaty, owing, I'm sure to a higher protein content.Thank you, Rao's! My dad and I are not the only ones... many MANY people who assumed they were gluten intolerant find that they can eat Italian wheat just fine. Your product is delicious and healthy. I don't know what specific variety of wheat is grown in Italy and used in your pasta, but PLEASE don't ever change!

I love the product and it arrived quickly and in excellent shape. My only problem is that I ordered 3 fusili and only got 2 fusili and one penne. I didn't get exactly what I ordered.
