Works very well. Very strong mount. Does not lose position even in rough water. The swivel allows me to also see the unit (mounted at driver console) while fishing on the bow deck.

This mount is a tank! I thought it would be some type of poly plastic but it is cast aluminum maybe? Either way, I have one on the bow of my boat and one to the right of my console holding a 999ci HD & 899ci HD. They don't move an inch in rough water. Yes you do need to make sure the screws are tight if you move it but, Duh. Only complaint is for the one I have at the console; it is that it holds the 999 at a 90 degree. I can move it UP (So if I stand up I can see it) but cant down when I am driving when the sun is high or bad glare.

Just installed it on my bass tracker 175. The quality of the product is awesome! It is a very solid built mount and easily holds my lowrance hds 9 in place. I would recommend this product.
