6" long BENT swing arm mounted on a horizontal surface mounting base. At the device mounting end of the mount is a rectangular 6.25" x 2" plate. There are two (2) pivoting points on the mount. One at the swing arm and base and one at the center of the rectangular plate and the end of the swing arm. Each pivoting point allows a complete 360 degree rotation.
Dimensions:
A. Center of knob to center of ball socket: 6"
B. Overall length of swing arm assembly: 10.75"
C. Overall height: 5.6"
D. Height from base to top of knob: 4.91"
Material:
Powder Coated Marine Grade Aluminum
Note:
The included plate is a universal mounting bracket with a selection of mounting hole locations. In certain applications additional holes may need to be drilled for proper fit with your electronic device.

I went with the vertical mount so I could attach it to a piece of pipe. This allows me to swing it around to the front when I'm fishing from the bow. This has worked out real well for me. The Item is actually made from metal and is very sturdy. It was the perfect solution for me

Good versatile mount for smaller chartplotter It is well built. I would not recommend for over 9 units. I actually traded it for a larger Ran Ball mount.

I have a Lowrance HDS 12 gimble mount on this, and the whole pattern lines up perfect. My only dislike on this, is if you use nylon lock nuts, the inner holes hit the mount arm when trying to rotate the mount. Putting bolts up through the plate fixes this, but it's nor ideal. Once I have this mounted in my boat it may not be an issue. But other than that, it's a quality mount.

Would give it 5 if I could test it out on the water but it's frozen currently. If your bolting it to plastic. I would recommend making a metal bracket for the underside for more surface area bite if your using a heavier unit I have a helix 12 mounted on it right now. Used many ram products in the past and have had no issues.
