I don’t about these other posters but what did you expect for a telescopic rod for $17... if you want something good, then spend the extra $100 on a st croix.... I’ve had this rod for a year now... paired with an abu Garcia black max and have caught a multitude of good size large mouth... I took this rod to the limits and it’s still in great shape. Great for camping, backpacking, throw it in your trunk or even bike riding at the reservoir and stopping for a few impromptu casts... oh... and the loose eyelit.... really?? You are supposed to slide it down after you extend the rod and it will tighten into place... I give this a 5 star because I spent a decent amount of money buying several.... and I mean several telescopic rods... this is by far the best I’ve owned... I even like it over my shimano combo.
