Powerbar Protein Plus Gluten Free Chocolate Peanut Butter Protein Bars, 0.13 Pounds, 8 per case, Price/Case

I've been buying protein bars as a regular diet regime and thought I would give these a try. The cost was decent. I use to love sweets, I grew up eating candy, cookies, chips and whatever I could get hold of :)If you like sweets, this is for you, there is low sugar, high protein but since I've cut sweets out of my diet the flavor was a bit overwhelming. I bought quite a bit on my order so instead of wasting the bars, I am going to try to tone down the sweetness and mix it with bananas and possibly a protein drink and make a delicious shake.I hope this is helpful : )

At first and second bit it has a hint of mint. My first bite was at night driving and thought oh I didn't realize it was mint cookies and cream. My child looked on the box. These aren't mint mom, just cookies cream. Not sure if I would order this flavor again.

These bars are delicious. Unfortunately they came in a destroyed box. With bars that looked like someone had sat on them.

Used the bar for energy after school football

It's all what you want in your personal program. I find the balance of protein to calories works for me. The taste is good and the diversity of the Pure Protein product line minimizes getting board with the flavor and texture.

I am one of those who try a lot of different protein bars and I have to say that I like these. The cookie dough has a good texture and flavor. Doesn't have too much of the typical chalky protein taste. Definitely worth a try if you're on the fence about them.
