This Pad Thai Sauce is actually good. I was skeptical when I saw it on the shelf at a local Asian market for about $6, but my kids love Pad Thai and it takes my Thai wife time to prepare the sauce. I found this sauce actually better than most restaurants Pad Thai, but not as good as made from scratch. However, it is so much more convenient from making from scratch which requires many different ingredients and to do right uses Tamarind sauce reconstituted from Tamarind fruit/seeds to make a paste, and it saves so much time with only giving up a small level of flavor loss from a good made-from-scratch recipe. I suggest adding some slivers of fresh lime to squeeze on the final and plated noodles and certainly chopped peanuts as well.
