I agree with most reviewers. It's too expensive and requires changing them too often. It's definitely not debris bc when I rinse the filter daily it's only a few hairs and maybe a few piece of food particulates. I believe it's their saliva that causes the filter to clog. First week was ok. But then I noticed the vortex stopped. So I rinsed the filter. Worked for a few more hours but ultimately it got a little moldy/clogged and I needed to change it. So I did. Within 48 hrs it happened again minus the moldiness. It just stopped funneling water bc the filter was clogged on what can only be saliva slime bc as I stated the food particulates and hairs weren't enough to cause this. At this point it appears to be such a good filter in terms of filtering everything/saliva that it causes the flow to stop. Rinses will only buy you a bit of time but eventually it's gonna be a deal breaker bc of the price per filter pad plus the annoyance.I checked online and no one else sells anything similar as per the dimensions. So it appears I will have to make my own filter pads which is doable but the simplicity is gone at this point. Hope this review is helpful guys.
