Our cat is 13 and recently started drinking more than her old glass bowl would hold. Happens with older cats, apparently. We wanted a simple revivor type waterer to prevent the cat meowing in the night for more water. This unit fit the bill because of it's simple valveless design and cost. It is really no frills but gets the job done and is easy to clean. Didn't measure capacity but 1 quart sounds right. We clean it 2.5-3 days and it's almost empty at that time.

I like the size of the water bottle. Cleaning it won't be easy but tree gallon stoagae is nice. The water bowl is shorter but easy to clean and over all a good deal. I recommend this one especially if you have more than one dog.

It was hard to imagine what a 3 gallon pet watering system would look like, yet for the price I decided to go for it and bought two. When the boxes arrived, and they were huge, I was concerned that I had possibly purchased something too big for my six cats. The 3 gallon pet watering system looks like it would easily water a Great Dane, yet also works for my six cats. The container fills easily, even though it is a little heavy once filled. The water container and water bowl aren't as sturdy as some other pet watering systems I have had in the past, yet they seem to be durable and actually survive the freezing temperatures we have had outside lately. I like not having to refill or be concerned about my cats having water for a week with this 3 gallon tank of water. So far it has definitely been worth the price and is holding up better than expected.

I used to use fountains for my cats, but cleaning them was a pain and the filters were expensive. Decided to use these and the work well. They are small, but I bought several to put around the house.

We got the bigger one hoping to save on how fast we have to change out the water. Turns out the 3 gallon was just fine. We do not fill up this one as the reservoir is too bulky to mess with, so it only gets filled halfway. Go with the 3 gallon one.

I like the bowl on this one because it's easy to clean. The 'gravity' feed doesn't work great because the bowl doesn't fill as much as I would like.
