I keep my head shaved down to the skin, so I need this headband to absorb the sweat when I'm working out. It absorbs everything I need it to, and I use the wristband to blot the rest of my face. Since it takes a whole lot of dye to make something red, I've found that most red things aren't great at absorbing any more moisture. I was surprised and pleased with how well this worked.
