These are great to prevent spilled beads. We used them for our 5 year olds birthday. She could have used something like this as a 3 year old though! The one thing I would warn against is that the bracelets are very large. You would need to present them as anklets for kids.

These silicone strings are a perfect addition to the bead box of 4 to 7 year olds. They are easy to open and close with no help from adults. They are the right size for little wrists and necks and even fit parents and grandparents. Our 2 granddaughters love using them and were very excited to see there were also bracelet cords. Only one suggestion, make sure the holes in your beads fit over the thin end of the cord. The letter beads come in varied size holes and the smaller holes were a real struggle to add on. The bigger size holes were quite easy to string. Word to the wise...get a lot of them.

My son came home from school one day with a bracelet made out of one of these bands. I had never heard of them before, but they're pretty cool! The bands are perfect for younger kiddos that want to make jewelry but haven't mastered how to hold and grip stretchy string yet. The bands are wider though, so pony beads are what should be used.

We have a special needs child and these are great for her. Very easy for her to use, and when you put the beads on they don't fall off the other end. Very happy with these.

My daughter is 3 and she does so well using these. She can take them off and put them on herself. The beads do not fall off if she hold the correct end (we're still working that a little bit). We use them with a Disney Princess kit that she got. Pony beads are the best size to use with the bracelets and necklaces. I agree with other reviewers that we got more of an assortment of colors. The bracelets and necklaces do not match 1 to 1, but it's not a big deal for us. I would buy this again.
