Good little switch. You do have to be familiar with how to wire a switch of this type. They can be frustrating to try and figure out by trial and error. Do a simple Google search on how to wire before purchase to make sure this is the switch for your application.

Used this switch for extra reverse light , one wire from 12 volts to turn it on and off when needed, and the other going to the reverse light switch to automatically turn on the light. Works great very happy

This switch is not rated for 12v or DC; it is only rated for 125v or 250v AC. While it can work in 12v circuits, it is not designed for direct current, only alternating.<br />Therefore, the life of this switch may be adversely effected and may fail at an accelerated rate. If you are looking for an approved 12v DC, switch you will have to continue looking. I'm sure the switch is great in 125v or 250v AC circuits, but is not designed for DC.

I needed a replacement for my lounge chair / lift. It used a monetary switch & this one was click & set. That has turned out to be NO problem. This switch is even better then the one i replaced as this one is LOW profile & does not snag on the pocket with A tall bat handle. We have moved this chair into everyday use replacing the rocker Lounger.

While these switches look nice and seemed to fit my needs very well (grip heaters on a street motorcycle), they've proven to be of low quality. The first one failed after a few months of occasional use. The second one was installed recently and failed almost immediately. They're very light-duty and not designed to last. I should've expected that for the price, but options are few for this type of switch.<br /><br />In short, I don't recommend this switch for anything other than indoor, occasional use.

A while ago I bought a aftermarket train horn from Hornblasters .com and i needed a switch that I could toggle from my car's horn to the train horn's solenoid. This works perfectly for the job

I have a Dodge 2500 Mega Cab truck with a 5th wheel hitch mounted in the bed. I installed 2 rear view cameras on it, one for the license plate and one on top of the bed by the cab so I can see the 5th wheel hitch. I used this to switch between the two cameras so that I can either hook up to the RV or use the lower one for backing up or as a rear view cam. I wired both cameras to be powered all the time when the switch is thrown to the camera being used NOT tied to the backup lights so that I can use the cameras at any time. This comes in handy when you have stuff in the bed you want to see but can't see through your back window or you just want to use them as an additional rear view mirror. Anyway the low profile works great.
