PKCELL Flat Top 14500 Li-Ion 3.7V 800mAh Rechargeable Battery
A growing number of electronic devices use 14500 Li-Ion batteries. Flashlights are using the 14500 battery to power high brightness LED bulbs, and to provide longer standby time when not in use. Previous rechargeable battery flashlights had to be left on the charger almost all the time so that it would be ready to use in a moment's notice. This 14500 Li-Ion battery can be left off the charger for months and still have over 90% of its charge. This enables you to charge an extra battery and have it ready to use in your flashlight in case you are going to be away from electricity for a long period of time or you forget to charge your original battery.
This battery is the same size as a AA battery, but do not use it in place of a AA. Since the 14500 fits into AA holders, many new projects requiring higher voltage are using this Li-Ion battery. It's more than double the voltage of a AA battery, and the standby charge versus other rechargeable batteries is up to three times longer. Save space by using three 14500 batteries instead of eight rechargeable AA batteries in a 12 VDC project.
Note: Do not throw the battery into the fire. Do not solder directly to the battery. Do not store the battery in heavy static electricity areas. Do not mix the battery with different brands, chemicals, or amperage ratings. Wash your skin or clothing immediately if the battery leaks onto them. If any chemicals get into your eyes do not rub them, but wash your eyes with clean water and call a doctor. Keep out of reach of young children to avoid swallowing.

Out of the 6-pack I've only tested two so far. But each tested within 5 of rated spec, and after two complete charge cycles performed even better. (1'st cycle: 1359mAh, 2'nd cycle: 1433mAh) As others have mentioned these cells are not protected so over-discharge will cause premature failure.Be wary of others batteries with ridiculous high mAh ratings, usually a dead giveaway they are fake.The rating for these is sensible and accurate. 4/5 only cause can't reliably test durability.
