Might be great for lifeguards or those who need to be in the sun but I wanted a hat for vacation and it 1) looked ridiculously large 2) I didn't fit through doorways.

If you are looking for a farmer's fedora this is one to get! I saw they have an XL size available and ordered one on the off chance that it would fit my enormous noggin. It fits great! I have a hard time finding hats that are big enough and this one fit great.

I live in Hawaii, Hats and sun protection are required. I think this is the third one of these I have purchased.They typically last two or three years on me. I walk my dog every day or perhaps he walks me but we get out and this hat gets used a lot when I am at home or out in the garden.

This was a perfect hat for our beach vacation but beware it breaks easily. The first one that was delivered had several spots where the wicker was broken so I ordered a replacement. The next one showed up in great condition but the first time I adjusted the neck strap the wicker snapped and ripped the grommet right out. Not very impressed with the durability
