My toddler loves to help in the kitchen and would put towels on his head to pretend to be a chef. I found this hat to replace the towel. He loves it. We have a special spot for it in the kitchen and he runs to put it on when it's time to get cooking. He's only 3 so it is a little big but the hat is secure when he's wearing it. Have washed it and it is still great.
