I needed a table to adjust to my short sitting height, table tilts as a modified easel, and the table expands from laptop size to keyboard size. It's heavy sturdy,but has sliders to prevent scratching flooring. Carpeting? I dont have but could pick up and place elsewhere. It's amazing table, worth the extra dollars.

Very handy. Wish the extensions sat perfectly flat. They slope a tiny bit when fully extended. Good value. Versatile.

It's functional, and holds my Carbon controller at home securely.That said, it's a bit cumbersome to assemble and disassemble. The lip on which the midi controller rests against could be a little taller. I'm not sure that it would keep the controller from sliding off if the stand was tilted very much and the midi controller was used energetically.It seems fine for studio / home use.
