I've used this microphone for nearly three years, as a Trivia, Music Bingo, and (now-recently) gameshow style presenter. -- I've used this with both XLR cords, and XLR transmitters (like the XVIVE U3).I did end up buying a windscreen cover, but it works like a charm. I wish ON-STAGE, would make a shorter microphone, without having the gooseneck portion. Then they could be the top seller of pencil-thin microphones. - That, or custom options, would be fantastic. But, for $50, I've not had any issues, and this microphone is a full rigid tube, except for the 3-inches near the base. I do use this in my work, hosting shows, and I get lots of happy comments on it.Don't wear any finger rings or bracelets, the sound will travel, and you'll get feedback. This microphone works as a great prop stand-in as well. There's a show on youtube called Name Your Price where the host will use this microphone as a prop, without being plugged in.
