I run about 50 miles a week. I love this v4 model of the New Balance fresh foam series. It's similar to the Fresh Foam 1080s but thicker and lasts a little longer. They definitely force more of a midfoot strike and i am 100 either a forefoot or mid foot striker naturally. When I wear the 1080s I definitely notice I have to do more of a heel first motion. I tried the newest More V version (more v5) and I absolutely despise them. In fact I only made it about 2 miles in them and was nearly injured from the stiffness. I have purchased 5 pair of the v4s. Their structural integrity lasts about 300 miles for me. I'll be trying a new brand entirely if New Balance doesn't go back to making the v series like this one rather than the v5.

I bought these (the white with gold) a couple of months ago, and I LOVE THEM. Best I've ever had. I actual got mine in person, and white was week they had. I'm tough on white shoes. But I've thrown these in the wash three times and air dried and they still look good. Holding up very well, the cushioning hasn't changed one bit. I get compliments on the cool style and color. The cushioning and comfort beats asics and hokas! I have been scouring the Internet to find another pair, so I have some ready when mine get worn out, and they are sold out everywhere! I found two in my size in colors I don't love, but for me it's about the comfort! If you've got bum knees you'll love them!
