So many have told me that melatonin doesn't work at all for them but for me it's a godsend. Even at 1 mg, if I lay down for 10 minutes my eyes start to close and I'm out. I keep these at my bedside because I often wake up in the middle of the night totally alert and awake and to know that I would never fall back asleep on my own. So I grabbed one of these off my nightstand and roll over and I'm out again. Using higher dosage tablets will make me feel like I'm moving slower the next day. I started with 10 mg and for me that was way too much. I'm 5'10 215 and apparently really sensitive to this stuff. I keep 5 mg tabs on hand in case I get to bed early and hope for a full night of sleep, but generally these 1 mg are all I need.

I was looking for a replacement for Trader Joe's 500mcg mint tablets, and these are a decent replacement. Chewable melatonin us far more powerful than the capsule kind, so honestly 1mg is a bit overkill for me, but not terribly so. The strawberry flavor is pretty good, cont kind it at all. Will probably repurchase in the future.

Some of us only needs like 0.5-1.0 mg of melatonin to fall asleep, and this is actually perfect! I've been using this brand for many years with no regrets!

I am a 45 year old woman who has not slept through the night in at least 4 years:( I've tried every supplement or wellness practice without any help. I'm looking into bioidentical hormones but while I work on that, I decided to give melatonin a try. I like that this is a lower dose than most melatonin supplements. I try to stick to physiologic levels of things when possible. 1mg is more than physiologic, but I'm going with it for now:) When I take this, I fall asleep faster each time I wake up, I'm up for less time. Still not 8 hours straight through but maybe 6 hours with 2-4 quick wakeups. That may sound awful but it's way better than if I'm not taking it!
