At 70 years old, I've tried everything. These by far are the best. If I desperately need to fall asleep quickly, I take two. Lots of dreams but that's ok. So happy and well rested!! Thank you!!

I'm an autistic adult that is sensitive to medication, who needs low-dose melatonin to sleep properly at night. I previously reviewed Natrol's gummies for children, and found the Natrol Kids SleepCalm (0.5 mg) works well and tastes good in strawberry, and the Natrol Kids Sleep gummy (1mg) works well and tastes only okay in berry. I decided to try these 1mg tablets since they're a far better bang for your buck.Unfortunately those sensitivities cropped up in the 1mg tablet formulation, unlike with the gummies. Perhaps something to do with how quickly the melatonin enters/lingers in your system? I could feel my body and especially my shoulders ache for some reason, and the next day I stayed extremely tired. I slept well, but too well, I didn't want to go in to work the next day, and it wasn't a comfortable sleep. But note that my reaction is very exaggerated and only found in someone with sensitivities, such as with autism, so I wouldn't expect this to happen to most people including young children. I would personally recommend if your child is neurodivergent to give them the Natrol gummies.That said, this tablet is easy to swallow with water and tastes sweet.I want to note the listing currently advertises Strengthen Immune System in the title, but on the bottle it says Consult your healthcare professional before using if you have an autoimmune disorder. The bottle makes it seem as if autoimmune disorders disqualify you from being able to take melatonin safely; a quick google will show similar sentiment, but this is misleading. Melatonin has both pro-inflammatory and anti-inflammatory properties, but it heavily weighs in anti-inflammatory's favor, and is recommended for many patients with inflammation. It is thought to assist in protection against pathogens and can reduce dysfunctional inflammation in overactive immune systems as seen in autoimmune dysregulation.

I started with taking one, and was waking up at about 3 or 4 a.m. and not falling back asleep. I started taking 2 of them and now I sleep throughout the whole night!

This is by far the best melatonin out there that I enjoy taking as well as the only one that will help me to fall asleep without it making me oversleep. Definitely recommend trying!!! Well worth it's price.

So many have told me that melatonin doesn't work at all for them but for me it's a godsend. Even at 1 mg, if I lay down for 10 minutes my eyes start to close and I'm out. I keep these at my bedside because I often wake up in the middle of the night totally alert and awake and to know that I would never fall back asleep on my own. So I grabbed one of these off my nightstand and roll over and I'm out again. Using higher dosage tablets will make me feel like I'm moving slower the next day. I started with 10 mg and for me that was way too much. I'm 5'10 215 and apparently really sensitive to this stuff. I keep 5 mg tabs on hand in case I get to bed early and hope for a full night of sleep, but generally these 1 mg are all I need.

I was looking for a replacement for Trader Joe's 500mcg mint tablets, and these are a decent replacement. Chewable melatonin us far more powerful than the capsule kind, so honestly 1mg is a bit overkill for me, but not terribly so. The strawberry flavor is pretty good, cont kind it at all. Will probably repurchase in the future.
