This is an awesome feather duster. Being that it is my first official 34;feather34; duster, I can't say enough about it. It is very soft and handles the dusting of the over 1,000 beer bottle collection that is in our home. it also works really well on all other dusting needs in the house. The extension is a must if your have paddle fans or other items that are tough to reach without a chair or small ladder. I would highly recommend this item to anyone who spends their time dusting.

Especially good for high ceilings. The only bad thing is that a few feathers fall out on each cleaning. But overall a very good product.

These other reviewers are a trip. What do they expect, that it's supposed to be made of gold? Give me a break, it's a bunch of ostrich feathers on the end of an extendable stick. It works great dusting spider webs and dust off of things you typically can't reach. I don't expect it to be the 34;heirloom34; duster to be passed down in my will, but it gets the job done. If/when it breaks, i'll probably order another one.

We have a very delicate glass chandelier and this feather duster is perfect for cleaning it. I saw there were other folks that had feathers loose but ours came in great shape-love it!

Love the length of this. I have cathedral ceilings and a high fan and I am 5ft 1 " I can reach anything. The feather amount is just right. They don't constantly fall out as others I have used!!

Love that long-handled baby! Lightweight and exactly what I hoped it would be -- light enough to dust valuable and delicate items; strong enough to do those shelved books!

The Mr. LongArm Ostrich Feather duster is great! I like that it can also be separated to make a smaller handled feather duster, too. I highly recommend it.

Love it! First of all, ostrich feathers do the job. Second, I have cathedral ceilings throughout my home and closets and the long arm reaches to the top without me needing a ladder, and I'm only 5'6"!!! I will definitely keep this in mind for a housewarming gift.

For once great grandmother was right! Who knew all those Downton Abbey maids were wielding the best housekeeping tool for the 2oth century and beyond? I resisted feather dusters for years, because I thought they couldn't possibly to a thorough job. I was wrong.

I recently had expensive blinds installed all over my house. I asked the installer the best way to clean them, because I would always get a dusty build-up that defied removal by my Sw*ff*r and lambs wool dusters. He told me that a plain Ostrich feather duster was best, because the other two kinds of tools both left a residue that actually attracted MORE dust, like silicone and lanolin. The feathers have static electricity, which also attracts dust but doesn't leave a residue. So I broke down and bought one with an extension wand since some windows are tall.

This does a great job and is so much easier and faster! I hated dusting, because I had to pick up every item to dust. A feather duster glides over everything and really does the job in less than half the time. Then I just take it outdoors and shake it hard to get rid of the collected dust. No more refills. The extension hand is a necessity for high spots like cornice mouldings, windows, baseboards, etc, but take the handle off for regular dusting.

Nothing works as well as ostrich feathers for dusting. I've tried all those synthetic fiber things and they just do not do the job. The extensible handle is perfect for getting to the high places like the corners in my ten-foot-high ceilings, and the glass light fixtures in the entry way and the stairwells.
