This type of dictionary is made up of a Spanish section in the first half, and the English words in the second half. It's a reference for finding the word in the other language if you know the word in one. The formatting and legibility is fine for most children and adults, not tiny and not oversized. Unfortunately, the single word translations weren't enough for the bilingual 3rd grader for whom it was intended since this dictionary does not contain definitions nor example sentences in either the Spanish or the English sections. Apart from that, it is a nicely illustrated word reference.

Kind of disappointed. This dictionary is very difficult to readseems all squashed and cluttered. Needs more space between lines and paragraphs and a general overhaul making it more legible. Also, it should be larger. Other than bad formatting, dictionary itself is good.

My son is learning Spanish he's going in to 3rd grade. This book has been very helpful, easy for him to find words independently after showing him. Now he is able to look up words here's not sure of without my assistance.

Love the illustrations and multiple examples. I liked the modern entries and that the English vs Spanish were not exact repeats of illustrations. Gee if this were available as a Kindle version it would get 5 stars.
