Who would have known that “desert shaped” made such a huge difference vs regular chalk. Our toddler loves this chalk and plays pretend “baking” with them, counts and names their colors as well as draws with them (and they've held up after SEVERAL daily drops in the driveway). I wish Melissa and Doug would make more “food shaped” chalks..as these have been a HUGE hit! Would (and probably will) purchase again! Excellent value and quality for the price.

This is such a fun gift for outdoor play! The colors are soft and not eye searing and these would be great for an ice cream themed party!
