This pad is a finishing disk so the pad is pretty soft, works well though. I use for light polish jobs.

I’ve had this backing plate a few months now and it has started to crack a little but seems to be working just fine and the cracks are not getting any worse I use it almost every day and wouldn’t hesitate getting another one

Funny, says it was handed directly to the resident, I recovered it from my mail box. Sad that someone misrepresented the truth for what ever reason. Nevertheless, I really like these to apply my Poorboys glaze and Wofgang's concourse wax. Does a great job. Microfibers do not work well, tried them, they're good for paste waxes though, that I don't use.

Great Product. Just had a power cord issue and am waiting on Meguiar's to repsond with my next steps. Most likely I will have to take it apart and figure out what is wrong since it was well out of warranty.
