Love the design of this noise machine and how easy it is to use.

Hotels are so noisy, but this blocks out all the noise!

Bought the Whish for my baby. I would say he loves it. More specifically for sleep he loves the rain sound. During play, he enjoys the chimes sound. For naps, we use the fan noise 1. This sound machine offers plenty of sounds to pick from. Surely there is something for everyone and every mood. The reason I gave it only 4 stars is because sometimes the volume and power buttons get stuck. Stuck as in the volume won't adjust and the power won't turn off. It has a simple solution though. Just unplug and plug it back in. It doesn't run on batteries or charge so it does need to be plugged in to be powered. Personally, we have two: 1 for our bedroom which is where my baby sleeps throughout the night and 1 for his room where he takes his afternoon naps. It's small and easy to take anywhere you can plug into a power source but we just decided to get the 2nd to make it easy on myself. We bought the 1st one about 1 yr ago and it's still going strong. Also, we wanted a machine without any lights and this one checked all the things we were looking for. Anywho, I recommend the Whish.

This sound machine is crazy-easy to use and comes with a nice variety of soothing sounds to peruse. First, the on-off switch is big, protruding, and easy to use -- just push it. Second, the different types of sounds are all listed on the top of the machine, each with its own label and button (other sound machines I've tried require pressing a single button over and over to get to its various sounds -- not difficult, but not as easy to accomplish as with this machine). Third, it comes with a few sounds that are not included on other sound machines, like meditate and chimes. And finally, it doesn't take up much space. Dislikes? Neither the on-off button nor the various sound buttons light up when the machine is on, and the it is a bit more on the expensive side. Still, I'd highly recommend.

This sound machine is better than the original because it offers a bunch of different sounds. One thing it comes up short on, it doesn’t come with its own power adapter. Also would be nice if you could control the volume in the dark better with a better tactile feel. Definitely worth the money.

We loved this sound machine for our daughter so much that when it suddenly just stopped working we bought another one. Now just 2 months into the purchase it also just quit working. We have tried plugging it in different outlets like support says and it simply doesn’t work. As much as I love it I officially feel as if I wasted almost 50 dollars!

Wound up buying a different sound machine from yoga sleep- the one with the fan inside is SO much better. My main issues with this one are: -if the power goes off for even a second, the sound machine doesn't turn itself back on. super annoying when you're trying to keep a baby asleep -i lost count of how many times i've got to turn it off or on and the button just simply didn't work. kept having to unplug and plug. -speaking of plugs, doesn't come with its own power adapter. WHY?

I use this in my therapy practice to help people breathe and relax. I love the volume control and variety of sounds. I use “calm” the most and it’s very easy to operate.

This has many settings to choose from, volume control works well and it is small enough for travel.

Stopped working in about three months

I purchased an actual Marpac years ago, it looks exactly like this one. I purchased this one for my daughter’s room and the description said that yogasleep is the new name of Marpac but it’s the same company immediately upon opening the box you could literally see the quality change. We’ve used it for a month now, the volume button sticks.. sometimes it doesn’t work at all, and sometimes it get super loud in the middle of the night. Sometimes the only way to shut it off is by unplugging it because the power button doesn’t always work. And then when you have to unplug it and you plug it back in and turn it on, it WONT switch to your sound preference. All the buttons will just play the same sound. I wish they at least kept the marpac quality when they changed the name.

I was using this for myself and then got a puppy. He's young so of course he has to play then he calms down and falls asleep. Love the selection of tones. I'm pleased with the product. You can adjust the time but I play it all night.

For $42 this should come with a USB considering it doesn't work unless plugged in. The cord length is ridiculously short. Volume is great. Good selection of sounds that aren't tinny or artificial

I have used Marpac for over 25 years, always depend on it. This is an amazing replacement. To change sound, you hit a button on top, to change volume, you hit a button on top. To turn on/off, you hit a button the side. The design is well thought out so you don't hit any button by accident in the middle of night. I was not expecting to like the "yoga" sounds as much as I do and of course the white noise sound is very real, not "tinny". I bought a 2nd one to put in our common area to play background sounds. Very peaceful and relaxing.

It has all the feature we require, it is light and easy to travel with. Can't live without it

We grew accustomed to using a white noise machines with our kids. When they got their own rooms we realized we were spoiled and needed something. If you’re familiar with the original dohm fan, this is more like the electronic cousin. More modern. You can pick between spa noises, rain, waves, etc. It’s not bad. It sounds a little digital, because it is. But, it helps me sleep. I would buy again.
