I had a recipe for green beans and potatoes and in the demonstration, the chef used a cast iron Dutch oven. His beans were beautiful and I wanted mine to look like his, so I began my search and settled on this pot. I couldn't be happier! My beans turned out as beautiful as his and yes, I believe that is in part because I used the right kind of pot. Looking forward to seeing what other culinary delights I can churn out. Great price and love the silicone covers for the handles.

It is a Lodge, hard to beat. I love this size, and love using it. My wife likes it as well and she is not a cast iron fan.

The Lodge Logic L10DOL3 7 Quart Dutch Oven is a versatile and durable cooking tool that can be used on a variety of cooking surfaces, including the stove, oven, and campfire. The loop handles make it easy to transport, and the preseasoned cast iron construction provides even heating and long-lasting performance. It does take some time to get it seasoned to perfection though. I use this at the house and even while camping. It's good for roasts, stews, and I even make bread in it!

Tired of the so-called non stick, Teflon coated skillets, pots and pans. Upgraded to this Lodge cast iron combo set including Dutch oven with lids. Very satisfied with this product.

Lodge cast iron pots are legendary for heat retention and faster cooking, and this 2 quart pot is no exception. The 2 quart cast iron pot is small, but it will cook a one pound roast beef with space left over for adding potatoes toward the end of the cooking time. I have also cooked the same amount of round steak in it. Since only my husband and myself are in our household, this cast iron pot is perfect for us.
