Have used this tea tree and hemp bar for years and it actually helps hair seem thicker. Will not strip natural oils from hair. I store extra bars in freezer until use. A couple of swipes across your hair will foam up and shampoo nicely. Great for camping, I would think. Burns like mad if you get it in your eyes, so be careful using on children's' hair!

I wash my hair twice a week and when I got dander I went looking for a natural product to fight it, and found this bar which -BONUS- saves trash from landfills. What I didn't expect is that it immediately got rid of the dandruff, and also left my very long hair with much less frizz. Maybe because it doesn't strip away natural oils? It leaves my hair looking smooth and wavy vs fluffy and kinked and I'm never going back to the bottled stuff!

The smell is great, and it does a good job of getting my specific hair type clean.(dreadlocks) The bar was quite a bit smaller than I expected, however, and it doesn't look like it's lasting a really long time.
