It's a bit pricy, but worth it. This large dish has already been used for several gatherings on the porch. Yellow, orange or red foods pop festively on the blue/brown. It seems darker than pictured.

This is a very pretty, sort of dusty blue platter that has an antique, or even country feel to the style of it. It's quite different than the typical serving pieces you see from the Lenox company. Because the platter is a stoneware, it's heavier than the bone china most people are familiar with from Lenox. It's a beautiful piece that just as well for serving from as it would a decorative accent. Very nice!

- i like the deep blue color and tapestry design of this platter- platter is very heavy and looks sturdy- size is good for a big family serving
