I love this chip and dip dish...it's beautifully etched with Holly leaves and is a substantial weight. The bowl is not attached to the plate and it's not too big, not too small. So pretty and festive!

The Lenox Holiday Metal Wood Cheeseboard matches the motif of the Lenox Red Green Christmas plates, although it does not have those colors on it.This cheeseboard is two pieces. The outer ring is a metal that is not identified on the product page or box, but seems to be some kind of aluminum alloy. It can hold crackers and such. Since it can only be handwashed, I wouldn't serve anything that could get into the nooks and crannies on it.The inner piece is a small piece of wood, stained but unfinished. Personally, I like a smoother piece of wood for serving cheese. It is not very large at all, despite the overall size of the piece. This piece can also only be handwashed. It should also be regularly treated with oil to keep it from cracking.I think this piece is lovely from a distance, but up close it is pretty obvious that it is two pieces. There is a decent clearance to ensure the inner piece doesn't get stuck. I think an oval shape might have been better, to provide more surface area for cheese and jams. This cheeseboard is more for looks than function.
