My kid loves these. He actually WANTS to play it and asks to play it so what a great way to encourage the learning of sight words. The quality of the “popcorn” cards is good and the box is solid. Good purchase.

I bought this set to play with my 6 year old son. He loves books, but is not a fan of reading them himself. Thus, I've been seeking creative ways to help him practice reading; for instance, we read signs, product packaging, labels, etc. And now we also play the 34;popcorn game34; for 5-10 minutes per day. I typically put on a timer and we see how many words he can identify in the set time-frame. The number of words he gets correct usually corresponds with how much tablet/video game time he gets. This has been a solid incentive for him and we've seen so much progress. The first time we played, he read about 28 words in 5 minutes. Within two weeks of playing, he improved to 51 words in 5 minutes. We're currently mastering the words in box 1, but will then move on to using box 2. Very happy to use this resource!
