So cute! Love how you can match these my color as well and not just by numbers! Great for the little ones! My son is 2.5 and he loves them! Great size, easy to take apart and put back together! Plus they are adorable!

These cows are so adorable. They are a cute toy for learning about numbers and counting, as well as colors. My two-year-old daughter LOVES playing with these and is often found carrying around her bucket of cows. It’s a great quiet toy for her to play during quiet time or even in her bed before she falls asleep. The pieces fit together easily and stay together well.

This is a great learning toy, right along with fun! It has all colors of the spectrum even light and dark variations, along with turquoise. Easy to pull apart and put back together. Great for matching numbers with quantities and can touch each dot to count so good for one-to-one correspondence. Added bonus: they fit well in the container no matter which way they are placed! I love toys that fit back into the container easily!

This a fun counting and color coded cows. My kids have both enjoyed playing with as a learning tool and as cows. Each cow has two segments. A number on the head half which can be separated from the bottom half. The number and nose area are a certain color which corresponds to spots on the bottom of the half. The cows parts are interchangable, so you can put a red front end with a blue back end but they won't match with the front end number and the back end color spots. These area cute counting and color learning toy set that allows for other kids of creative play. (Also learning the color wheel).

The Learning Resources Counting Cows have a been a huge hit in our home. Not only is this set educational but it's a lot of fun too. My 9, 6, and 1 1/2 year old play with this set daily! The set comes with 20 pieces (10 cows). The cows are incredibly cute and are very colorful! The cows when not in play can be stored in the container they come in. This container is pretty sturdy and even features a handle on the top to carry and move it about. This set is geared toward helping children with their counting and color recognition. The cows can be taken apart and put back together. Since they come apart it's a perfect exercise for matching the front and back end of the cows back together correctly. It's not hard at all to take the cows apart, my nearly two-year-old daughter has been able to do this for a while now. It's really helped build up her hand coordination, fine motor, and matching skills. The front end of the cow has a number on it and the back end has spots that correspond to the number on the front. You can mix and match these up and have a child correct it. You can take them all apart to practice matching. You can line them up with 10-1 and 1-10. You could even practice skip counting by 2s, 3s, 4s , and 5s up to ten. It's pretty open-ended and encourages one to be creative! I love how enjoyed this set has been. It's battery free with no loud noises, lights, etc. Don't worry, the kids will provide the moo sounds the cows make. They love making them talk, follow each other in a line, and even stack them up to make a cow pyramid. These cows are easy to keep clean with a damp cloth. They are durable and have shown zero signs of wear with months of play. These would be a wonderful addition to any home or school classroom. Great to bring along and a perfect learning toy that's fun enough to keep kids entertained when away from home. I highly recommend them!

We have many toys here from Learning Resources. I like this one, and the girls play with it but not at much as others. This set comes in a reusable container with a handle on the top. The cows look really nice and are painted well. No flaking paint or anything like that at all. The paint seems to be sealed onto the plastic so it should last a super long time. The front half of the cows has a colored number on it and the back half has colored dots to match the number. These are really nice for teaching kids to count as they can also use the color matching to see if they are right or not. I also mix them up and put them back in the container to have my daughter go through and fix them on her own. The cows come apart with one large nub in the center. Nothing that can be pulled out, it is molded as part of the cow itself. You can mix them up as much as you want, they are all identical. I really like the vivid colors on these cows and they stay looking really nice over time. My girls took these into a pool over the summer so I just put them in a soap bath to wash them off and they look brand new still. They also dry quickly. I love that they have a container to store them in, no lost pieces. I wish there were more that we could do with these, but I am still happy with them. Quality would be a 5, I am only giving them a 4 because besides counting and learning numbers there really isn't much you can do with these guys.

I got these for my niece for her first birthday (disregarding the age recommendation because she lives in a house full of LEGO and tiny toys) and she loves them. If she wakes up in the middle of the night, she wants to play cows. When her cousin came to visit, they both played cows and now her cousin is getting a set for his own. I am not sure my niece's mother appreciates the cows during the late night play sessions, but I am guessing the fact that they are silent and don't wake the other kids up makes her happy.
