*WILL THE PEGS STAY IN IF YOU TURN THE BOARD OVER?
Yes, If they are pushed in all the way. It doesn't take much-- just an extra push down sometimes. My 16 month granddaughter had no problem.
*WOULD THESE PEGS FIT INTO A STANDARD PEGBOARD HOLE? IN OTHER WORDS... WHAT IS THE WIDTH OF THE PEG ITSELF?
I just measured a peg and the bottom has a diameter of 5/16". Hopes this helps. I have no other peg board games so I don't know if it will fit into anything else.
*ARE THE PEGS WOOD?
No, they are plastic.
*ARE THEY HARD TO STACK AND GET APART,THINKING ABOUT THESE FOR A PERSON THAT HAS LIMITED USE IN ONE HAND
No, they are relatively easy. They come apart by hitting them on the ground, too, so you wouldn't have to be able to use both hands.
*CAN YOU LACE THESE PEGS ON A STRING?
No. Only place on the mat. It is good practice for fine motor skills!
*IS THIS TOY COMPACT ENOUGH TO BE TAKEN ON AIRPLANES?
Yes I believe you can.

Got these for my 3 year old for Christmas, it is now nearly April and he has only played with them a handful of times. They would be good for fine/gross motor skills if he were interested in playing with them.

These are great. My daughter loves playing with them and she loves the different designs she can make with the pegs. It is easy enough for my 2 1/2 year old, but challenging enough to keep her engaged.

Bought this set for a gift after the first set I bought was for my 2 y/o twins and they LOVED them. They are easy for them to put together and pull apart without needing help from an adult. They like to stack them as tall as they can and watch the tower fall down, and they also like to stack them by sorting each color. Great for fine motor skills and a fun activity that doesn’t need batteries or make noise like most toys seem to do these days.
