I have replaced our tub spout twice already, so when I found this and it matched ours I got two of them so I'd have a spare. This one diverts the water to the shower better than the original one, it always leaked a little. Pleased with the product.

We have very hard water and the original lasted more than 12 years. This replacement was exactly the same in form, fit, function, and oil-rubbed bronze finish. I was surprised and very happy with the quality for the price. Installation could not have gone we easier and better. Old one off (the hard part to do), new Teflon tape and the new one on in a few minutes. Recommend.

I bought a brand replacement, it turned out to be plastic and it was very expensive. This spout is metal, so I was happy from the moment I opened it. You just get it aligned and turn, it literally took 1 minute to get it done. So far there is minimal wasted water, it all goes to the shower head. I hope it lasts, but so far I am pleased. I would buy again.

Took about 10 minutes to unscrew the old spout, clean up old teflon tape, apply new tape, then screw in the new spout. Seems to work fine now. Took a star off because better quality spouts have an opening in the underside so any leak could be clearly seen. This unit does not have any opening so any leak would go straight into the wall which could be disastrous! Going to see if I can drill a hole in the underside just in case there's any leak.

Okay so I've been a homeowner for about 4 years now, but plumbing and electric always scare me.Let me say, I had to remove my old faucet using a pipe wrench because it had gotten a bit stuck from being on the pipe so long.I had no way of knowing if my pipe was long enough for this or not. I read many of the reviews and found one that stated 4 and a half inches of copper pipe coming from the wall is standard for screw on faucets like this one.Well anyway I took the old faucet off, cleaned the thread, used some plumbing tape after testing the fit, and this bad boy screwed on and tightened no problem.Secure fit, diverted just works. It's like a night and day difference from my old 10 plus year old faucet.If you know you have a screw on faucet, chances are it's got a standard stub of 4 and a half inches and this bad boy will fit perfectly.I recommend watching a video to learn. Because of the video, I also ordered a rubber strap wrench to tighten the faucet fully.Very very happy so far. Will change my review if it suddenly starts sticking badly.

For the price the fit and finish of the spout is good. We will see how long it lasts though. The only negative so far is that the stream out of the spout is not smooth, comes out like out of an open pipe instead of a controlled flow.
