I've went throw many lights on my hard hat and love this one. Aluminum body and rechargeable. When this one gets smashed(cuz that's my luck) I'll be buying another one.

I'm a miner, and bought this light to go on top of my hard hat. I liked that it came with the hard hat clips. Seem plenty bright and easy to install and adjust. But after I charge it up for the first time the charging cable hasn't sit in the port firmly and barely gets a charge. Being on the mine rescue team and working nights, I'll be looking for a different light, hope this doesn't happen to everyone.

Decent little headlamp for the price. The hooks do hold it on a hardhat securely, though it's inconvenient they don't click onto the hardhat itself, if you want to use the headlamp without the hardhat the hooks must come off too.That said, it seems like the waterproofing works well, its survived working in the rain and I typically get 3 full days of work on a single charge, The charging port is under a screwed in section by the power button and has a thin rubber washer to keep moisture out, its thinner than i like but seems to work well, it gets pretty bright and doesnt seem to generate much heat, nor is it particularly heavy. So far Im quite happy with it and would buy it again, maybe in a easier to find color. The hooks are inconvenient but not that bad and theres other solutions for that.

These lights have filters that will eliminate unwanted radio and electromagnetic frequencies from external sources.
