Product Description
This is a standard 3/8" x 3" S-hook. These S-hooks only work with out C12 and C150 chains. Our commercial quality S-hooks are designed to fasten chain to swing hangers and swing seats to help prevent binding. They are plated to resist rust. S-hooks that are not bought from a playground manufacturer do not have the quality control and have been known to break with the first "swinger". This product should last 2 years in harsh conditions and up to 5 years in optimal conditions. Some conditions may require replacement sooner. Tensile strength 1543 lbs.
This is for children 0 - 12 years old only. Adults should supervise children at all times. Do not allow children to use unsafely. Do not allow it to be used if damaged.

Installation: Our parts are sold as either replacement parts or components of a set, unless you are buying our Metal Frame Set, therefore these parts need to be installed according to the sets installation instructions.
Make sure you are using correct size of S-hook. Closing S-hook should not crimp material producing a wear spot on whatever material you are attaching to S-hook. If this occurs, use a larger S-hook to extend life of product. Because S-hooks are often constructed of heavy-duty materials that can withstand significant weight, they are not easy to close. A pair of pliers designed for closing and opening S-hooks, such as our T100 is necessary. To close S-hooks: Put the S-hook in the front part of the large jaws and close the pliers' legs and the S-hook will close. Make sure all S-hooks are closed to within .04 to meet ASTM safety standards. Close according to Fig A1.19 for Fastening Devices. To open S-hooks: Use the little jaws at the other end of the pliers' head. Put the top or outer jaw inside of the closed S-hook. Close the pliers' legs and the S-hook should open. WARNING: Once the S-hooks have been opened they will have to be replaced to avoid injuries from coming open and/or breaking.
Maintenance: Do the following to reduce the chance of serious injuries. At beginning and end of each play season and once a month during play season, check for sharp edges and/or cracks in metal. Check for excessive wear. Replace parts as necessary for safety. Make sure S-hooks are closed to within .04 to meet ASTM safety standards. Maintain detailed inspection and maintenance records for public-use playground equipment.
Any damage from vandalism, abuse or misuse VOIDS all warranties.

i bought 2 packs of these hooks to hang up my jeans in my closet.they are just regular S hooks but can be used for so much more than hanging up a shower curtain.

I have 3 sets of these hooks. They are awesome for tiny kitchens! I use them to hang pots and pans, cutting boards, and other items from shelving units, and to hang utensils from magnetic hooks above the cooking range. I even use them to hang camping items from certain shelving units in the basement to keep things off of the floor. I even have a couple in the shower holding exfoliating items. It's the number of uses I find for this handy little item! The hooks arrived very quickly after I ordered them. The seller does everything right.

I mostly bought these to extend the use of the towel bars in our bathrooms, but the pack came with so many, I've been using them in other areas of the house and even in our shed to hang gardening gloves and things. They're sturdy, attractive and simple.
