Speaker replacement in my Stage Right Monoprice made the amp unbelievably better. Much better than I expected. A happy picker.

I have a1963 Fender Deluxe amp. The original speaker was not working when I purchased it. So I installed an EV Force12 which was great for the last 30 years. Now that I am getting older, I needed to lighten up the amp so I purchased the Jensen. So now the amp is 8 lbs lighter and I didn't lose any tone at all. Great speaker!

I haven't loaded them in the empty Sears Silvertone Solid State 150 cabinet that originally came out with these speakers in the ‘60s, but I have used them in other guitar amps and know that they are very good speakers and will work beautifully with the Sears Silvertone model 1464 amp head which I have and that came with the cabinet when new back in the day.Stew Mac always has great products.

Love the way this sounds, just as good as the originals from my old Fender amps.

This is a great speaker for rock and blues. I put this into a 5E3 style amp and the tones are great for rock and blues. Not harsh but mids and highs are distinct without being ice-picky!

Sound quality is incredible! Really brought to life my fender frontman 25r. Clarity, loudness, and takes gain much better than before!

After 10 hours of breaking it in with a tone generator it sounds great. I'm thinking of picking up another for a 1x12 cab I have

I was blown away, performs above and beyond what I expected, even after watching YouTube Videos. I was unsure at first because the price is so affordable and my manual suggested I use a Celestion G12. But now I'm a total Jensen fan. It has a bright, aggressive, and yes vintage sound. The brightness really helps because I play an SG which can tend to have a darker sound, I know this is going to help it cut through the mix. Now it has more of that 60's chime that I've heard from SG's on Doors and Who records.

These sound great. I rebuilt some old 1961 Jensen TF-3 speakers I found. They make them sound so good. Give it a few months of me rocking to some classics rock and I'll see how they hold up.

I picked up a Vintage 1968 Sears Silvertone solid state stereo console for cheap. The Oxford 12 inch guitar speakers and 3 inch speakers were shot. I spent a couple of weeks researching how I could upgrade the sound without replacing the amp and keeping it close to original. In the end I opted for this 12 inch guitar speaker, to keep it somewhat true to it's original setup. As these stereos originally came with guitar speakers and a modified guitar amp of the era. But I went with a modern 3 inch full range driver and 3.5 inch tweeter on a bass blocking crossover, Giving me an effective range of 70 to 21k hz. With lots of mid range character for instruments, tight bass, and some sparkle up high. Very happy with the setup, which is meant for evening listening for low volume jazz, roots, blues, and reggae music.

I don't know what ‘sheerness' means in this context. I put this speaker in a 1982 Peavey Backstage 20 because I was feeling sentimental about it, but thought it sounded thin hollow. Yes the Jensen cost more than the amp is maybe worth. It sounds great now! Much more rich and full. It's only going to get better as it breaks in, too. I would buy more of these speakers. Fun that it is green, too.

Punch, clarity and beautiful bass. Bell like highs, as good as my Vintage Jensen's.
