The carbon block filter consists of high-quality activated carbon. It is effective in reducing free chlorine, bad taste, odor, THM, organics, hazardous chemicals and more.
Depending on source water quality or flow rate, it needs to be replaced every 2 months or about 1,000 to 1,200 gallons of water. Each filter is individually sealed to keep freshness. Fits models using standard 10 in. x 2.5 in. water filters.
Often used before an RO Membrane to protect the membrane from Chlorine in the water. Chlorine in the water greatly reduces the RO Membrane service life.
Knocks out cloudiness, bad tastes and odors while removing removes 99% nominally of the chlorine in the water. This filter is also effective on organic compounds like herbicides and industrial solvents and other contaminants like trihalomethanes.
The filter offers a steady flow and high absorption.
Fits standard 10 in. x 2.5 in housings offering quality commercial, industrial and whole house water filtration systems.

These lightweight 4"x10" Standard Carbon Air Filters have an average lifespan of 1.5 years and contain 100% Virgin Activated Coal-Based Carbon which eliminates 99.5% of all odors. They come with a pre-installed flange and have a 180°F maximum operating temperature. Includes one pre-filter.
