We bought this last year and loved using it, but it's already started cracking on both sides of the board. We have maybe used it 20 times throughout the year and never let it stay wet long enough to develop this kinds of cracked. Even made sure we treated it with oil to keep it nice. It's very upsetting that a nice cutting board like this does not even last a year.

Was gonna build my own but this was on sale and a pretty good size too. It'd be better if it were a little thicker, and the drip well needs to be sanded and oiled a little better but otherwise it's quite decent.Looks great, easy to clean assuming - you aren't smacking cleavers on it, and it's a great size for the counter.

Acacia wood is gentle on knife edges and the end grain makes the board even more knife friendly. The board is large, probably larger than I need since I cook meals for two; it's not a problem for me since I have plenty of counter space, but others should take its size into account. There are grooves around the perimeter on both sides which are deep enough for most situations. And it's easy to clean. What's not to love? Any end grain board is going to be a composite of many pieces of wood - and each joint has a possibility for a split. Other boards have these concerns. Seasoning boards every three weeks with mineral oil should significantly reduce the occurrence of these splits. But I'd recommend against purchasing an end grain board if you cannot commit to this regimen. Finally, this acacia board is a thing of beauty.

The original purchase was cracked and replacement has a chunk missing from one of the side corners. It is attractive and gives the appearance of sturdiness but is difficult to obtain one without a significant flaw that could quickly escalate into an unusable overpriced board. So much of this marginal production today. Don't waste your time or money.

Very big and heavy. At this price, it was a very good deal.I have noticed that it is extremely dry, I find myself having to coat with mineral oil every day or knife marks begin to look fibery.
